Who are we

We are a group of volunteer parents who have come together to raise awareness about child care needs in our Toronto East neighbourhood

We are passionate about seeing change in the way child care is regulated, funded and rolled out in our Toronto East neighbourhood. We are working to move forward three major goals:

MORE HIGH-QUALITY SPACES IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

CHILD CARE THAT IS MORE AFFORDABLE FOR FAMILIES

BETTER INFORMATION ABOUT OUR LOCAL CHILD CARE CENTRES

We are proud members of the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC).

Toronto East Enders for Child Care is also concerned about the continuum of care for our children. Other issues on which we are seeking change are:

• full day kindergarten implementation
• parent-child centres
• family-related services related to early years parenting
